Are you Team Cap or Team Iron Man? The Credulous Nerds break down Captain America: Civil War and it’s impact on the Marvel Avengers Cinematic Universe.

We talk about how the super soldier storyline is again addressed and dropped. We talk about how Tony Stark and Steve Rogers have been fundamentally unable to come to decision and that this movie is a culmination of that.

The Marvel Avengers Cinematic Universe Rankings

We’ve finished doing our Marvel Avengers Re-Watch series, and here is my final rankings of the MCU so far:

  1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  2. Avengers: Infinity War
  3. Captain America: Civil War
  4. Ant-Man
  5. Dr. Strange
  6. The Avengers: Age of Ultron
  7. Captain America: The First Avenger
  8. Spider-Man: Homecoming
  9. Black Panther
  10. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1
  11. Thor: Ragnarok
  12. Iron Man
  13. Thor
  14. The Avengers
  15. The Incredible Hulk
  16. Iron Man 3
  17. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
  18. Thor: The Dark World
  19. Iron Man 2

It’s hard to rank the films at the top, as they are all good and depending on my mood at the time, they could switch places with another film. Plus, with some of these films I haven’t seen them in a few months and perhaps years.

*Updated from an older post as of June 25, 2018.

Marvel Avengers Re-Watch #13 – Ant-Man

The Credulous Nerds, Marc and Justin, discuss Ant-Man and his origin story. We see how Scott Lang went from dead beat dad to an Avenger! *OK, not technically an Avenger yet, but he fought an Avenger and won!

We talk about how Ant-Man is different but the same as other origin stories, and how it’s one of our favorite Avenger films.
