Guardians of the Galaxy Will Appear in Thor: Love and Thunder

March 09, 2020 by Justin Brady in Marvel, Movies, The Avengers

In a recent interview for his upcoming film, Bloodshot, Vin Diesel revealed that some of the Guardians of the Galaxy will be appearing in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder film! Thor 4 is due to be released in November 2021, while Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is still in development with no release date set. So it appears that the next appearance of the Guardians will be in the next Thor movie.

Bloodshot, actor Vin Diesel is quoted as saying:

“I am waiting and excited for my friend James Gunn to knock this next one out of the park,” said Diesel (via Comicbook.com), referring to the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. “He took The Suicide Squad so he’s about to embark on it. [He also] talked to me about how Thor will incorporate some of the Guardians of the Galaxy, which would be very interesting. Nobody knows, but maybe I shouldn’t have said anything.”

We last saw the Guardians and Thor in Avengers: Endgame as they boarded a star ship to leave Earth and we got the hilarious dialogue between Thor and Star-Lord about who is now in charge. (Because we all know who is in charge now, right?) Based on that scene alone, we can get a good idea of how great this film can be, along with Christian Bale recently being announced as the villain for Thor: Love and Thunder, as well as Natalie Portman’s character, Jane Foster, finally taking a more prominent role in the Thor storyline. We should be in for a wild ride with the next Thor movie.
