In the newly released teaser trailer for Thor 4, Love and Thunder, we catch up with Thor since we last saw him leaving Earth with Star Lord and the Guardians. It appears he is trying to figure out who he is and what his role is in the new state of the Universe after the defeat of Thanos.
Backed with the iconic Guns and Roses song “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, the trailer is a fun reintroduction to the characters from the Avengers that have carried the MCU for the last 12+ years.
The trailer ends with a shot of a new hero wielding Thor’s Hammer, Mjolnir, which leads us to rethink Thor’s role in the MCU.
