Cosmere Cakes and Friends!

While standing in line to get books signed by Brandon Sanderson at this year’s Dragonsteel Con 2022, we were able to socialize and meet new people. This is always recommended as something to do when standing in a line at a book signing, movie release, or conventions. It’s always good to meet new people and talk about the things that make us fans!

This year we met Emily and Gus, big time Cosmere fans and all around cool people. Emily is a baker and made a cool Mistborn cake for Brandon Sanderson and was able to give it to him at the book signing. Brandon was impressed and appreciative of the kind gesture.

The Credible Nerds got a sneak peek at the cake and it looked amazing! It was a red velvet cake with the Allomantic symbol of Steel on top of it. It looked really good and I was secretly hoping for a taste! The lighting in the room we were in gave the in-person pic a weird red tint that doesn’t do it justice, so make sure to check out the better pics from Emily’s Instagram page.
