Indiana Jones Review Series: Episode 2 - The Temple of Doom

We're back with a review of the Indiana Jones prequel - Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom! Set one year before Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indy is on a new adventure with a sidekick - Short Round, and an unwilling traveling companion - Willie Scott.

These three are shot at, chased, left for dead on an airplane, escape said airplane by jumping out with only a life raft for safety, and ride white water rapids until they hit calm waters. And this is only in the first 20 mins of the movie! More adventures follow as they try to get back to civilization.

We discuss whether we like Temple of Doom, what we thought when we first saw it in theaters, 39 years ago, and if our opinion changed during our recent rewatch. We then rank and compare the movie to the other four Indiana Jones films.
