Big Casting Changes in The Wheel of Time Amazon Prime Series!

Today it was announced that a big casting change has occurred in The Wheel of Time Amazon Prime series. The role of Mat Cauthon has been recast with a new actor, Donal Finn, who is replacing Barney Harris. No reasons have been given as to why the change occurred or when it happened on the show.

Season One wrapped filming months ago and a teaser trailer has already been released featuring Barney Harris in his role as Mat Cauthon. Season Two has started filming over the summer and it is unknown if Barney Harris had filmed scenes already for Season Two and if they will be reshot, or if Donal Finn started filming right from the start of Season Two.
